The Short Answer
Get the Peak Pro if you mostly session at home and want the biggest, most consistent vapor Puffco makes. Get the Proxy if you want something portable, love custom glass, or want to build a piece that's uniquely yours. If price is the deciding factor, the Proxy gets you real Puffco quality for less.
Vapor Quality & Chamber
The Peak Pro's 3D chamber (and the 3DXL's oversized version) is the benchmark for electronic rigs โ even heating from the chamber walls, real-time temperature control from the app, and big, flavorful hits that stay consistent through the whole session. The Proxy's smaller chamber produces excellent flavor, but with a smaller footprint comes smaller clouds. For pure performance, the Peak Pro wins.
Portability
This is where the Proxy runs away with it. It fits in a pocket (or one of the wild custom glass bodies people build for it), while the Peak Pro is a "put it on the table" device. If you travel, camp, or move between friends' places a lot, the Proxy fits your life better.
Customization
The Proxy is basically a modular engine you can drop into endless glass configurations โ pipes, bubblers, custom art pieces. The Peak Pro has its own accessory ecosystem (Joystick caps, custom glass tops, travel packs), but the device itself stays the device. Glass collectors almost always end up with a Proxy.
Maintenance & Parts
Both need regular chamber cleaning and eventual atomizer replacement โ that's the reality of every e-rig. We stock replacement chambers and parts for both at all our San Antonio locations, so you're never waiting a week on a part.
